Foothealth First Podiatry has been providing Quality Podiatry Care from Kids to the Elderly since 2003. We have grown to three locations across Melbourne since then. All our locations are located within large multi-disciplinary practices which opens after hours and on weekends. Our podiatrists are highly skilled in their field and are passionate about the services we provide to our clients. We continue to strive for our best and value feedback about our services from our customers.

We each undertake 20 hours a year of AHPRA recognised professional development seminars to stay in the loop in our profession. In addition, all podiatrists are fully qualified, registered and insured.

We accept all Private patients without a referral, and Patients with a GP referrals such as Enhance Primary Care are Bulk Billed. Ultrasound treatments available for Plantar fasciitis and soft tissue inflammation. Doppler ultrasound used for Diabetic foot assessment.

All aspects of Podiatric Care. Including Diabetes, Sports Podiatry, Flat feet, Heel spurs, Corns and Callus, Nail Surgery, Mobilisation and manipulation, Orthotic Therapy using 3D scanning. Accept all referrals from Medicare EPC, Veterans Affairs, Work Cover, TAC. HICAPS/EFTPOS Available.

Nina Sventek
Podiatrist

Nina graduated from La Trobe University in 2003 and is also the founder of Foot Body Sole. Nina has worked across both Community health care and the private sector over the last 18 years, and is experienced in treating paediatrics through to the elderly. Nina has completed extra studies in Mobilisation and Manipulation, Dermatology, Health Coaching, Motivational Interviewing and Flinders University Chronic Illness Coach. She has also completed her Certificate 3 in Fitness. Nina is experienced in working with clients with chronic illness and has a passion for helping those clients achieve short and long term health goals, in particular Diabetes, neurovascular assessments and education. Over the years Nina has developed a keen interest in all aspects of podiatry, in particular nail surgery and biomechanics. Nina uses shockwave therapy, laser therapy, ultrasound therapy and interferential therapy to treat foot pain. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, pilates and spending time with her little girl and family.

Jessica Norwood
Podiatrist

Jess completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University in 2019. ​ Jess is passionate about helping people to improve their general health and wellbeing through promotion of foot health. ​ Jess grew up in Gippsland and has completed training in Box Hill Hospital and various rural community health centres which allows her to understand the foot concerns of a diverse range of people. ​ Jess has completed training in Swift Microwave Therapy and is particularly interested in biomechanics and nail surgery. Jess' main passion is prevention of diabetes- related foot pathology where she is driven to educate and maintain the foot health of patients with Diabetes. ​ In her spare time, Jess loves to catch up with family and friends, take her Golden Retriever for walks and play Piano

Amel Ahmed
Podiatrist

Amel completed her Bachelors of Podiatry (Honours) in 2023 from La Trobe University. A dedicated professional with a commitment to making a positive impact, she brings a wealth of experience to our team. With 10 years in retail and customer service, Amel is well-equipped to handle diverse challenges. Her passion for technology and its integration into Podiatry enhances our team's innovative approach. Amel's extensive experiences, including placements at renowned institutions like The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Monash Health, and Cohealth Community, have molded her into a versatile podiatrist ready for any task. Beyond her academic achievements, Amel's genuine desire to help others is reflected in her leisure activities, where she enjoys spending quality time with family, exploring new cuisines, and traveling. We are thrilled to welcome Amel as the newest addition to our team.

Madi Thompson

Podiatrist

Madi completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University in 2019. She has a decade of experience in Health and Physical Education, due to her high interest in sports and curiosity into the way in which the body works. She is qualified in performing shockwave therapy, ultrasound therapy, laser therapy and interferential therapy. Madi has completed further study in dry needling and uses this technique to improve muscle function and decrease muscle pain. She has completed training at the Alfred Hospital and metropolitan community health centres , this with teaching experience in rural NSW has given her the ability to understand the concerns of a diverse range of people. ​Madi has completed training in Swift Microwave Therapy and is particularly interested in biomechanics and nail surgery. Madi’s main passion is treating musculoskeletal injuries, helping patients to recover and return to being active. In her spare time Madi enjoys playing competitive netball, going for walks along the Yarra, enjoying all the different cuisines Melbourn has to offer and attending live sporting matches.

Andrew Yoko
Podiatrist

Andrew completed his Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University in 2022. ​ Andrew is the newest addition to the Foot Body and Sole team. He has a passion for the prevention and treatment of sports injuries. He enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life and listening to their stories, helping them get back on their feet. Andrew is interested in using advanced technology to manage chronic pain, particularly in young adults and the working population and finding the balance to accommodate their busy schedules. ​ Andrew has completed his placements at The Alfred Hospital, Monash Health and Cohealth Community which has equipped him with the necessary skills to handle a wide variety of cases from diabetic wounds to general foot care. Andrew is a polyglot, he is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia on top of English. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys playing tennis and table-top games with his friends

Will Thompson
Podiatrist

Will has attained a range of qualifications from La Trobe University including a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Podiatric Practice. Will graduated from La Trobe in 2019, working the past 4 years at various private practices across Melbourne. Prior to this, Will completed Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and Diploma of Remedial Massage. ​ Will is trained in shockwave, massage therapy, laser therapy, ultrasound use, ultrasound therapy and prolotherapy (injection therapy) in treating various musculoskeletal complaints and this has allowed Will to use a wide range of treatment modalities in a clients management plan. ​ He has a particular interest in all lower-limb pain or injuries, paediatrics, nail surgery, diabetic foot care, general foot care, he enjoys using up to date technologies like laser and regenerative medicines such as shockwave and prolotherapy. Will’s interests outside of work are living a healthy lifestyle through good nutrition and exercise. He regularly goes for walks, loves watching sports, fashion and enjoys cooking with his partner.
